Hurricane warning: Fibre, Climate and Media Change Tracking and riding the storm
|
From globalisation to the information revolution, from economic pressure to environmental challenges, from the shifting balance of world trade in forest and paper industries to legislation and directives - companies along the value chain are forced to face the fact that all systems, including business models and strategies, are dynamic and ever-evolving. And are we still talking of a value chain with clear, sequential links one to each other or are we seeing something that more resembles a chain-mail vest, with links increasingly overlapping? Corporations are challenged to change more profoundly and more quickly than ever before. Renewal should come as a response to opportunity, and companies must encourage new business values. They must be willing to experiment and to take chances, while also holding the line on costs.
PRIMA 2008 will identify and explore today´s biggest challenges which demand action. |
