Carmen was born in 1958 in Graz, Austria. Following her graduation from Graz University, she started her career as Deputy Export Manager at an Austrian chain factory. She joined the Paper Industry and Leykam-Mürztaler in 1988. Having been in charge of several functions, mainly within sales and marketing, she was appointed Marketing Manager in 1991. After the merger with KNP, she held marketing responsibility for the coated sheet business of KNP Leykam. Since July 1998, she has been running her own Marketing Services company with a dedicated focus on PRIMA activities. Carmen is a member of Stanford Business School Alumni Association and has been an active PRIMA Council member since 1995. She is married and lives in Graz, Austria.
